  • Suzuki 300 problem

Sensor said "overheat" on both engines when pulling into dock. Turned them off and restarted......would not rev past 3000 rpms.....both engines....any thoughts?

3000 rpm is the engines going into safe mode because it is a dual engine they both go once it has cooled down will be ok ...did one of them get a plastic bag over water inlet ? or was there some other cause

No apparent reason (no plastic bag).....water was still flowing......I've had one sensor overheat......was surprised at both.

check your water pump , thermostats , and water pressure relief valve ..

perhaps start with thermostats as most likely cause .

if both motors did not go into fail safe on some application it may go unnoticed that is why both motors are linked so as to give you a warning with a reduction in rpms
