2017 suzuki 25 hp drain plug

I change the gear oil and had more than a heck of a time getting the lower drain plug back in. I have worked on cars for 35 years. and this was a pain in the butt and back .
Is there a replacement option , maybe something with a magnet or nipple to help get it started at the correct angle?
i have not been able to locate the thread size or pitch. Part number 09248-08001

I find it easier laying on the floor to put in. Make sure you don't cross thread.
