  • 2005 df70 - camshaft sensor and cylinder temp sensor

I had some trouble with my 2005 DF70 over the weekend. The check engine light came on and then the motor died. Battery was dead (relatively new battery). I did not pay attention to the error code that showed up at the time as I didn’t realize that the flashing indicated something.

I guessed and replaced the rectifier yesterday. I then jumped the battery and the motor started after a few attempts. It now runs good. However, the check engine is still going off and I’m getting codes for the CMP Sensor and the Cyl Temperature Sensor.

Is is this something that can be reset, or do I really need to replace these sensors? Could it be a loose connection since I had to remove the ECU in order to replace the rectifier?

    any help is appreciated.....

You Should first have the battery checked and give it a full charge , then reinstall
