It has a DF30A, gets me across the lake at 28mph which is plenty fast for me. Chosen for its super quiet running so as to get to duck hunting grounds undetected or spotting wild pig on the river banks. Hence the cammo! It also has a Humminbird/minn kota power v2 with iPilot for hunting down our fishy friends.

Here's a photo of my 1955 Feathercraft Deluxe Runabout tinny, sporting a Zuke DF25ARS. After raising the motor a bit and putting on a 12-pitch stainless prop, I'm touching 32 MPH in this 250 lb boat when riding alone; about 30 with passenger. You can't really see it in this photo, but the LMF400 SMIS gauge is surface mounted to the right-hand side of the dash.

            Sorry, no fish yet.

                  Halibut on Oregon coast

two weeks ago the weather was perfect for the first opening of Halibut fishing
wind and ocean laid down nicely fished 3 days.. day 1 found a 46 inch and 36 inch (46 lbs and 20 lbs respectively).. day 2 - fished a lot of hours with no luck.. day 3 .. it was one right after another 2 - 36 inch and a 48 inch (about 53 lbs) and first one back to the dock..
can't seem to get photo bucket to work so this is the best I can do for a photo
                  Art..

More nice fish, Art! You seem to be getting out pretty regularly lately, lucky fellow!

We had a strong wind warning here over the weekend, so no fishing.

I am hanging out for our week long trip up to the Great Barrier Reef in 2 weeks time, though! Hopefully if the weather Gods permit I will have some pics of reef fish to post here for you all to drool over!
