  • Prop walk effect ??

My boat has a deep-V hull and a DF115A engine with regular 3x13.75x19 alu prop
When slowing the boat down and shifting the gear from neutral into reverse at idle RPM, I notice that the bow of the boat moves to port side.
I assume this is prop walk effect, but in reverse the prop turns anti-clockwise, at least so I understand, so shouldn't the bow move to starboard in stead ??

    Can anyone clarify ??

    THANKS,
    V

Are you sure that you motor turns clockwise when in forward?

To my knowledge, motor and prop are standard issue, and I read somewhere that standard rotation forward is clockwise, but what else than prop walk can explain the bow turning to port in reverse......?

Heavy drag on one side of the boat, curved boat, kicker motor
