Vibration and roaring noise

At the end of last season 2018, I was on the water going about 2000 rpms when I felt a vibration in the hull of the boat along with a roaring noise. I dropped down to an idle and the noise and vibration went away. The boat was driven 4-5 times after this on different days and no problems appeared as discribed above. It’s a 2007 Suzuki motor with approximately 450 hours on it and it’s on a skiff. Any ideas what could have caused this. Thanks

Could be anything - possibly something caught on the prop and fell off when you backed off?
