Hi, this is my first time posting. I have a Suzuki 115 and love it. My trim and tilt works fine when the motor is off. When underway it goes up just fine but won't go down but if I put it in reverse it goes down just fine. I sometimes have to rock the throttle back and forth across neutral to get the motor to start. Any ideas where I should start troubleshooting this issue?

Check trim fluid level to see if full, if the oil in trim unit is foamy then need to purge air out of hydraulic system. Need to check shift cable adjustment, check for excess slack in cable making it difficult to adjust to neutral position. May need to adjust neutral safety switch inside control box.
