I would look for another power source vs the ignition key
Some units like my Lowrance it is not recommended to shut down by just cutting the power -- which you would be doing using the keyed ignition switch
If you don't have a spare switch, can suggest using the power feed you have and installing a new switch that then is wired to your C10

If you wanted to use an ignition on power source, (on mine) the gray wire and the green /red wires are as such. They can be found on the engine harness end, usually connected to the tach, and /or instrument lighting. A good majority of people like to have a separate power switch for instrumentation, and to connect their illumination to the nav light circuit.
