DURA-FIX for the engine holder rot issues?

I've come across a product called DURA-FIX for brazing aluminum..
anyone ever use it before for this fix? It can easily cover the holes from the description,
My only thoughts; You need to heat the area of application to 700deg. Is there anything close that would warp or have an issue with it in the immediate area?
I'm in the trades so cold wet towels to absorb the heat would be on the outboard as a precaution but just wondering if anyone tried it yet.

Installed aluminum plug in mine

I installed an aluminum plug in my 07, DF140 in 2010. Last year I had to lift off the power head to repair a leak. I have attached a pic.
I ended up wire brushing the area off and it was clean. I had a pic of the cleaned area, but misplaced it. No corrosion, thnk that white stuff was salt resudue. I only salt water fish. Nearly a thousand hours and it runs excellently.
