Short and simple.
Will a DT55 carburettor main nozzel fit a dt65 model, both from the years 1988 - 1997.
Are the jet nozzels the same ??

the nozzle are the same model but for the DT55 the largest one is the 125 en for the DT65 the smallest one is the 140 so only when you can enlarge the hole you can make it fit. else not

Do you mean enlarge the tiny holes on the nozzel itself. But otherwise the threads to actually fit in carb are the same. Os that correct.
How difficult is it to make holes larger. Super thin drill bit ??
Any suggested size. ??

Another thought. What about uping to maybe the 85hp would that fit. Might be a daft question

Get a number drill bit set and drill it out. Doesn't have to be a good one, you are only drilling Brass.

GP, the nozzle is how it is dispersed into the carb throat, the jet screwed into the nozzle is what needs to be correct size for your motor. You should not need to drill the nozzle. Again, what is wrong with your part? I have also told you the best way to find used parts. Read the previous post.
