  • Suzuki DT8C carb. DT9.9C carb.

What differentiate the carburetor on the DT8C 1991 part nr:13200-92D52
and the carburetor on the DT9.9C 1991 Part nr: 13200-92D42
Is the air intake bigger or is it the same?
It is the same engine (211cc)

It might be the jets? Or, any number of things. You could look up online all the parts, and see what parts are different by clicking on the part numbers. It should tell you all the motors, and years those parts were used on.

    Good luck.

      Thanks for the Reply!
Yes, there are 2 jets who are different and i think it fits my carb. (13200-92D52)
      I'm thinking to upgrade my DT8C to a DT9.9C.
If there is only the jets, it's okej. but i'm not sure about the carb.
It says that "Carburetor Assy 13200-92D52 Suzuki OEM Parts can be used with these other models and components
      Carburetor (Dt8c) - Suzuki OEM Parts - iboats.com
If the air intake is smaller on the DT8C it would use more fuel and i don't get any extra power
I don't need to upgrade it, but great if it works

I have been looking into this myself after rebuilding my 92 dt8 I have noticed that every part on the 8 and 9 are the same except for the last 2 digits of the carb the 8 uses a 92d52 while the 9 uses a 92d42 now I'm not sure if the carb bore is different or if it's just the pilot and main jet being different, i would love to upgrade to 9.9 for a couple bucks
