  • Throttle Body Fuel Drip

I have a 2 stroke dt225 and once it warms up I have fuel dripping from the throttle body at idle but did not notice it until I tilted the motor out of the water and it was not a large amount which tells me is only happens at idle! Could it be a plugged high or low pressure filter or a faulty fuel pressure regulator? Help Please!

Where is the drip coming from, the gasket area of the bowl (gasket would need to be replaced), the throat of the throttle body (problem with float needle-valve sticking open, or out of adjustment).
If regulator is not holding proper pressure for fuel rail, then replace, if pressure on rail is good, then it is probably float needle-valve sticking.
If leaking somewhere else, please let us know.

Good luck. Post back how its going when able.
