Just recently bought a 2016 BlueWave PureBay with a 2017 175HP on it. It is mounted onto a manual jack plate but it will not trim all the way up any reason why it is doing this...?

Have you checked or adjusted the trim limit switch? It's located in the middle of the tilt shaft. There's a tab that you can move to adjust to limit the amount of up travel. #14 in this illustration http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Su...1~)/parts.html

Just be careful as to why the limit was set low.
In my case, if it tilts higher, it will smash the sea star steering system.Comment
