Why is there one different air mixture screw on this motor? All 5 are the same except for the bottom carb on port side.

All air mixture screws according to parts book are identical, if one is different? I don't know why.

    Good luck.

If you look on the exploded diagram of this motor you will see that it list the 2 pieces for top carb, 2 pieces for middle carb and 1 for bottom carb. Then it list a different part # for the last adjuster for bottom carb. This is on Browns Point marine parts. Also on parts.net but does not list a 89 DT200 so you can look at DT150. Part # ref. # 16-1 and 16-2.

The only answer i can offer for that difference, is a difference in shape due to some external obstruction (TPS location)? I am guessing the screw adjusts the same. The Suzuki service manual might note the reason it is different, but it has to do the same job as the other 5 screws. Unless the Suzuki manual tells you to adjust it differently, make it the same adjustment as the rest.

Post back when able to let us know how it's going.
