1988 dt140 loss of power and sputtering
Bought my boat in march with a 1988 dt140 had the carbs rebuilt and cleaned new water pump head gasket choke selenoid and some piece in the fuel pump but not the diaphram. It ran ok for a while but now it losses power and sputters after it warms up. Checked the plugs they have a bit of oil on them. Checked with the motor, off reverse and forward the prop seems ok. Grrrrr I am about to scrap it... any ideas before I do?
