Default DF60 Gas in oil

I have a 1999 df60 suzuki. Runs great but I am getting fuel in the oil. Any help would be greatly apreciated. This motor has very low hours on it & I don't wont to hurt it. If any one knows of a direct line to suzuki tech support, please let me know how to contact them.

make sure the thermostats are working, and run it harder and more often!

Can be caused by too much slow speed trolling and in such cases it is called "making oil" - the unburnt fuel gets past the rings and into the sump, and sometimes the sump overflows.

Best way to keep it under control is to give the motor a good hard run for 10-15 minutes a few times every trip, and instead of trolling back to the ramp, give it a good hard run home at 75% throttle. This will help to burn off any fuel in the oil.

More frequent oil changes are good idea if you do a lot of slow trolling, for this very reason.

Cheers

ML
