Stuck driveshaft

I have Suzuki 250 twins, I was trying to remove the lower unit - counter port. I tried to pull the lower unit and the driveshaft is stuck in the power head. The motors are 2007.
Does any one know if Suzuki has been having any warranty issues with this problems ?
Can the spines twist and cause need to rebuild the entire upper head unit ?

I guess anything can happen in 4 years, but it is not a known issue, do you know if the shafts have even been out and greased FOR SURE during routine service?

If you keep the records that your engine has been serviced regulary. Then
It maybe covered by warranty, but i don,t think you can
