DF 225 over charging code

I have twin df 225 motors with 1500 hours on them with no issues until recently.
Over the past week the starboard motor has been loosing rpm sporatically while trying to plane as well as when we are running at 3800-4200 or so.
yesterday as it was running rough periodically the code 1-1 came on a few times then went away.
very confusing as the motor will run fine most of the time but this happens at least twice a day and is getting worse.
help?
