Default DT 25 Remote to tiller conversion

I have a 1998 DT25C that I am wanting to convert from remote control to tiller. I have no desire to keep or try to resale the remote control part and would like to use what I can from it to save $ in the conversion process. Can I remove the ignition and kill switch from the remote, shorten the wire harness to fit under the cowling and install the ignition and kill switch onto the motor frame like a regular DT25C tiller setup? What do I do with the buzzer? Any tricks to this? Please assist. Thanks.

It is usually cheaper and easier to just purchase the tiller handle kit, if one is still offered.

that sounds like the perfect solution to have both of you to swap out the equipt involved so you both get what you want for only the cost of shipping.

i would suggest you swap out everything involved so there is no binding or "rigging" required
