make sure you have ALL the bolts out, check to make sure there is no hidden ones, make sure the gear shift is disconnected. Does the leg drop a tiny bit or stuck solid? There is a couple of places they get stuck, on the bolts (not too bad) and on the drive shaft where it fits into the motor (very bad) you will need to be forceful to drop the leg, this does not mean bashing the bejesus out of it, but be firm with it.
