Default Suzuki DF70 oil pressure warning light and buzzer

Question:
Twin DF 70's on Glacier Bay.. 2 hours after last oil change, one engine (400 hrs) goes into safe mode/rev limiter with oil light and buzzer sounding. Motor starts/runs perfectly and quietly, oil level is spot on full mark and clean as new. Changed oil and filter again and swapped oil sensors from one engine to the other. Still no difference as oil light is on permanently on the same engine with the other sensor and at idle the buzzer sounds for one second out of every 10. Any ideas folks????!
Thx in advance for any thoughts on this....

check your oil pressure with a gauge to see if pump if ok as you have ruled out senders with the check by swapping them

Well folks, it appears that the problem is a broken camshaft!!! (The camshaft drives the oil pump.)
Apparently this a common problem on the DF70.
Very annoying, not to mention very expensive...

Crap....... At least you know whats happened and can get it fixed. Are they going to be able to get the part pretty fast or will you be waiting for another boat to bring it from Japan?

Mechanic found a new camshaft but has been waiting more than two weeks to get a gasket set (and as of today STILL can't get one!) Great motors but parts are difficult to obtain/locate...
