DF50 dies at closed throttle in gear on deacceleration

I have a DF50 that dies at closed throttle after deceleration. This started happening after replacing the voltage regulator/rectifier that caught on fire. Any ideas?

Sounds like a possible fuel problem.

Have had the same problem myself. Have you resolved it? I agree it's likely to be fuel. My DF50 is still prone to the problem from time to time, but the following work eliminated it up to a point: replace low and high pressure filters and separator element, have the injectors properly cleaned, and replace the injector 'o' rings. I also drained and cleaned my fuel tank, as the fuel here is total sh1te. Good luck, and if you found an alternative solution, I'd be interested to hear it.
