Default ignition problems
i just was given a 1982 galaxy boat with a 85hp outboard. my problem is that im not getting fire from the coils or to them. i'm mechanically inclined but dont have a clue on this one my first encounter with a outboard. Someone help please

You should start by purchasing a service manual. You can then test the coils, stator, and related components.
