1979 dt65

I have a 1979 dt65 suzuki I got a 1983 cdi to replace the bad one all wires match up but I don't know where the pink and gray wires go on the stator there is a blue/red tracer and a red /blue tracer any help would be grate .

Unfortunately the service manual is not accurate to the color codes on the replacement parts. Also according to the part book, the 83 CDI is not to be used with a 79 motor.
