Default dt 25 Tacometer

I have a DT 25 and i can't get the Tac to work. Ive replaced the old one with a new one and had a dealer wire it up properly. Could it be an issue at the engine, because everything else checks out.

Yes could be an issue at the engine. I would bring it back to the dealer that installed the guage.

tachs are not all the same and need to match the motor they are used on, especially when it comes to tachs with sensor lights and fault codes wired into them

it may just be a bad tach but how could the dealer not test a tach he installed, thats just beyond lazy to not back it in the tank or hook up a hose to test it

and after its fixed make sure you see it working before you leave
