Default df 150 lower unit swap
I have a DF 150 with a bad lower unit, will a DF 250-300 work?

The DF150 and DF175 are completely interchangable. However there are differences between the higher horsepowers. I would not risk attempting the swap.

Default just because it fits doesnt mean it will work
stick with something you know works and dont risk ruining your engine with a lower unit that fits but isnt geared correctly for your motor.
