DF140 Lower Unit Model Year Swap

I have a 2006 DF140 power head that I would like to put a 2007 lower unit on.
I know the gear ratio changed, but that should just result in a prop pitch mod. The drive shafts (both 25") have different part numbers and I cannot find an accurate drawing depicting the change(s). Are the splines and bushing placements the same in those models? What changed?

I would like to know if an 07 lower unit will mate to an 06 power head.

You should not have any problems switching the lower units. There are no specific notes as to the exact differences, however the housing and drive shafts are the same.
