Default DF 140 Drive Shaft Holder leak

My 2004 DF140s have 2100 hours on them-have had to replace one engine holder and had the other welded at 1200 hours-so far great. New problem is a very small leak in a drive shaft holder-some bubbles showing . Any suggestions as to fixing this-welding,JB WELD,Marinetex ???

help me out here, what is a drive shaft holder? do you mean the engine holder that joins the block to the midsection? http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Su...DER/parts.html

or this: http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Su...ING/parts.html

is the leak from the one you replaced or the original one and is it corrosion leaks or stress cracks?

reguardless of which it is it must be under stress so i would only advise welding as a repair option

Default drive shaft holder

This leak is in the holder that is between the lower unit and oil pan.

The replacement and repair to the engine holder done 2/3 years ago was a separate comment-sorry it was confusing.
