i have been reproping my 250 and on sea trials i had it running at 5500rpm. i then opened the throttle and it went out to 6100rpm but only the once. cant achieve that again, any ideas?
sea conditions and trim are the key but it also could be the prop bushing was slipping a little at first but more then likely it was a combination of just the right trim and smooth water conditions
you should always find a place thats flat calm to test since that will always give you the conditions to reach the highest rpms
