Default 40 hp suz 2010 fuel leak out overflow?

I just bought a used 40 hp with 40 hrs. I had to store it for two months on correct side (laid down). I hope that was ok to do but after we got mounted on boat and let it sit for a while I turned it over and it cranked right up. There was good oil in it and when it was running fuel was leaking out under port side cowling out of black tube that appears to come from top of motor on top of fuel injection I assume. It looks like an overflow of some sort and it looks like a one way valve it just before end of hose leaking? Could storing motor on side for two months caused this? I only ran motor for 5 min and with fuel flowing out I shut it down.
So first should I run motor after being stored on side for 2 months or is there something I need to do first?
Is the fuel running out of hose going to clear it self up or do I have other issues?

Default update

I started motor & ran it for a while. The fuel quit leaking out overflow tube but it is running rough? Like it is running on 2 cyclinders and I actually unplugged one electric connection on top of bottom cylinder and it seemed to run the same like 3rd cylinder not running. When reved up some in gear (out of water with ears on) it seemed to run ok about 3000 rpms or more but when slow down it would be rough. oil looks good so I am thinking it might clear up when I run it and this all maybe due to storing it on it's side? any comments or help?

Probably need to remove and clean VST and injectors.
