Lost Newbie with a non-existant DT30

hi all,
got a boat & motor a few years back, now it looks like I need at least a head gasket, if not more.
Now, finding it is a challenge.
It is a Suzuki 30, 2 cyl two stroke
numbers on the engine: DT30 03001-371440
then there is this silver coin sized part on the block with "May 2002" engraved on it.
Now this is throwing me off since any reference I find to a DT30 points to older engines, the 03001 series according to brownspoint.com not after 1989, while I would put the (rounded) looks and the condition of the engine (when I bought it ) not earlier than late 90s (I was sold on the 2002 engravement)
So, how do I find a head gasket or even an overhaul kit for that thing?

p.s. maybe important maybe not - I´m in Centr. America, the previous owner got the boat&engine out of Guatemala, so maybe some third-world-series?

Well many of the manufactures change things for international motors. Unfortunately in the US models the only 2cyl DT30 were between 1983-1987. After that they were 3cyl
