Suzuki Interface

I'm going to re power from an 06 Suzuki DF140 to an 2010 Suzuki DF175.
So my question is I have the EP20 Suzuki Interface working with my Lowrance HDS and the DF140 and will want to connect it to the DF175 when its fitted but the fittings/plugs are different,I have done some searching and found a SMIS Adapter Harness part no 990C0-88035 that looks like the way I need to go.
So can you confirm that for me Please.

PS the engine supplier is trying to sell me a Lowrance LMF-400 and I don't think I need to go that way.

Suzuki Australia said today that there will be a new cable out soon to go from the engine to the HDS unit,so I can only wait and see.
They said they have tried the SMIS adapter harness and said it didn't work.?
But can someone here tell me if they have tried the adapter and if it worked or not.
