Oil level for a DF40 4stroke

where on the dip stick should the oil level be on the dip stick....mechanic may have overfilled so I am trying to get it to proper level?? THANKS in advance

how much over full ? you could drain it and measure and refill it to operators manual level but i run at half way up the hatch marks . Over filling can lead to making oil as well ..eg fuel not getting hot enough to boil off
