Hi. I have a 1988 200hp. One side of my engine is getting hot, I removed the thermostat and ran the engine and same thing. I removed the thermostat cover and ran the enging the make sure i was getting water flow and i was, and the over heating seemed to stop, put on the thermostat cover without the thermostat and it gets hot again. I changed the water pump already. The other day i removed the head and it looked pretty clean. Any suggestions? thanks.
