I'm considering one of these to repower an 80's Whaler Outrage 18 and have a few questions:
- What is the minimum in-gear rpm possible on the DF140 and DF140A?
- Is a 1.8-2mph troll possible spinning an 18p or 20p Suzuki SS prop?
(boat and load will typically weigh 2400-2800#)
- Is it difficult to make very minimal rpm adjustments on a 2012 DF140? (no Troll Mode)
- Do you think it is worth paying 20% more for a new 2014, over a new 2012?
