Fuel line replacement

A mechanic told me to replace the original 5/16" fuel line on my 2019 140 hp Suzuki with a 3/8" fuel line. He said the age of the fuel line and smaller diameter may be affecting motor performance. I have not noticed any performance issues. Should I replace with 3/8" line? If so, should I replace all fuel lines, from the gas tank to the bulb to the fuel/water separator to the motor? Thanks.
