Hi, I tried the white wire to a separate feed and tied the grey to the inside key switch. what happens, is the inside key needs to be on for the out side station to start the engine. and the outside station needs to be on for the inside key to work. So just isolating the white wire to another feed does not solve my remote starting problem..
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

the white wire is connected directly to the battery and therefore should always be hot or attached to your battery switch and hot whenever that is on.
if you look at the wiring schematic for the key switch you should see that when the switch is turn to on-- the power flows to the gray wire that goes to the ECM
the only other thing would be the other wires from the key switch would also need to be connected accordingly.
that way you have added the second switch to the circuit and the engine won't know the difference where it gets its signal from
sounds like you have not got all the wires connected
be sure you also wire the the lanyard cut off switch as well
good luck and let know how you do
