  • suzuki outboard 140 motor

i have a 2002-2003 suzuki 140 outboard motor. It has less than 30 hrs on it and it is in very good condition. When it is running below 1000 rpm's or in neutral it is running very rough, then it will run smooth and then back to rough till it eventually dies. it runs great over 1000 rpms. the injectors and high speed fuel pump have been thoroughly cleaned, and all filters have been changed, latest fuel sample looks fine also. i cannot seem to figure this problem out, does anyone have any suggestions?
    thanks

Under the console, unplug and replug the brown wires that are near the ignition. I believe they are the auto kill switch. I had some issues with my engine (rough idle, then later nothing after the beep) recently that was corrected by that. Must have been a bad connection.

Sounds like its got a vacuum leak. Intake side, manifold gaskets, loose hose, etc.
