  • 115 neutral safety switch

hi, can anyone tell me where the neutral safety switch is on my 2001 suzuki 115hp 4-stroke outboard. i was told it was in the shifter control box and i was told by someone else that it was at the end of the shifter cables where they connect to the motor.
thank you for any help that you can give me

    You got 2 switches
One on the control box and one on the engine side.

the switches are a pretty simple thing to test and replace, they are just an on/off setup, a meter will test them easy as pie, or connecting the two wires together will bypass it for testing, do NOT leave it this way, the switch is a safety item, and should be left as a working system. In general use, they do not give much trouble.
