DT4 piston rings

Hi i got new piston rings for my dads dt4 and noticed one of them has a beveled edge, could anyone tell me if this one goes on the top or the bottom of the piston? thanks calum

Look at the piston, in one of the ring caps there should be a petruding groove. That is where the piston ring ends go.
