  • DP 175 throttle adjustment

I recently purchased a 2007 Baha Cruiser with twin DT 175s on it. I have noticed that when I put either outboard in gear the rpm is about 800 and as I push the throttle forward it doesn't hold its self forward until I get to about 1800 rpm, but wants to snap back to the 800 rpm position. I have the top mount throttle control boxs, is there an adjustment to correct this if so is it in the throttle control box or on the outboards. We do a lot of slow speed trolling so you can see the problem.
    Thanks

There is a throttle friction adjustment screw, have to remove the top plastic cover fron control box and at bottom of rear side is the adjustment screw.

I had the cover off and on the top are two adjustment screws with lock nuts as well as the screw on the bottom rear, and there is a rubber plug on the front bottom of the control, do you know what all of these adjust.
      thx Dale
