  • DT150 Compression

Hey everyone! Im new to this forum thinking about buying a 1998 dt150 and was wondering if 95-105 compression was good for these engines and how long one might expect it would last? What was the compression from the factory? The motor looks clean and it come with controls gauges etc for pretty short change. Hows the reliability of these motors? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have a 98 DT 225 and the compression ranges from 90 psi to 95 psi.
I've run the motor for just one year (last year) and it starts and runs great.

I've read of people with the same engines with compression readings as high as 125 psi.
