DT85 Rebuild

I have a 1985 DT85 Suzuki im planning to rebuild.

Has been run with-out oil so major damage to the short-block. My plan is to strip and replace damaged parts or replace block alltogether.

Im at the stage of pulling the block off the Engine holder, taken all four studds underneath plus another two and a small one from the back , the block is now loose but still wont free from the gear-box.

Can any-one shed some light on this please!

as from the pic you can see where i have disconnected bolts from, I was told that was all thats needed but i must have missed some-thing?

have you removed the nut from the cluch selector. if you look at the hole that you can see in the picture just below and to the left of the fuel line the will be a nut. now take off the nut and push the bolt as far in as you can.
