  • Any Suzuki 'Factory' Support Here ?

I'm just wondering. Are there any Suzuki Outboard Technicians that respond to problems here. Please let me know as I have, days ago, posted a problem but no help.

    Thank you,
    Rick

If you are trying to rev engine up in neutral then engine will only run about 3000 rpm's, it has an overrev in neutral protection.

No, not at all. It will not go to an idle speed. A bit of my history. I repaired outboards back in the late 60's early 70's. Fuel injection was not around at the time, let alone EFI.
Hope I can find the answer to this.

      Thank you very much. Rick

Would help to know what motor you have and if have system monitor gauge in boat. Use a timing light to check for spark on all cylinders and check each injector to see if firing. Check fuel pressure to see if staying steady. Check monitor gauge for any warnings.

          200, DF50 4 Stroke

Unless the monitor guage is somehow buit-in, no.
I have spark on all 3 cylinders.
          I will check fuel pressure.

          Thank you,
          Rick
