  • df60 run problems

I have a df60 4-stroke 2004 . Having problems starting it and keeping it running , I had last years gas it the tank so I drained it and put new gas in. The motor would start but I had to use the high idle lever to keep it running at first then I would put in gear and it would want to quit , The finally got it to keep running and got in gear slowly brought the throttle up and it would keep running but rough like its running on two cylinders then I got a beeping alarm and light on my guage all the way to right .
Can the injectors be clogged up because of the old gas ,and what can I do to fix my problem. Also how can I clear the alarm.

Yes could have clogged fuel injectors or high pressure fuel pump not working properly. Run a fuel pressure test, should be around 40psi. If you run a computer diagnostic this will narrow your results.

      Reset alarms

Alarms can be reset by the following procedure:
      Stop motor
      Remove deadmans switch fork
Turn on ignition (do not start)
Pull deadman switch twice (within 5 sec i think)
      Listen for Execute signal
