DT 50 trim problem

Trim ones up fine but when coming down after I let off button the trim motor stops but the outboard slowly drifts down until I press the up button which it stops and holds in place. There is no leak in the system. Any ideas? It's a Shinko pump.

Sounds like a valve in the ptt body maybe sticking and not closing when it should. I do not have any information on repairing the valve bodies.

It now stops on it own. It fixed itself in that aspect but it slowly leaks down. You Still think valve sticking? Do you think bad Orings/seal in manual release valve could also cause this? Just torn on buying another valve body, the prices are ouch, or 40.00 manual release valve.

I replaced the manual release valve with no luck, still leaks down. Could it be anything other than valve body?

Unless the piston in the tilt are leaking.
