Hi All,
I pulled my boat out the other day to take it to the lake figured I better make sure she was running ok So I fired her up. Started right away when I reved it in neutral had a little delay before accelerating. figured it was the plugs so I replaced them. fired it back up seemed to run like a champ. I packed up and headed to the lake where the motor started right up. I ran it for about 3 minutes at around 5 MPH basically an idle went to give it gas and it just bogged down and died. After I did this the motor would not even stay running long enough at a low idle to be able to put it in gear.
Things I have replaced or checked so far are:
New Gas tank at the end of last year..so the gas is brand new
new fuel filter
rebuilt the fuel pump
new plugs
I also have checked the spark on all 3 cylinders
and the compression on ea cylinder is between 125-130
Any help is appreciated
