Has anyone any opinions as to the reliability of these motors? I have only 3 minutes of use on mine and blew a piston. Not sure whether to replace or run away. Not sure why it went, no warnig signs. Any input is appreciated.

My original 2003 DT225 blew after 5 hrs new...then after rebuild was utterly reliable for almost 10 years except for a pesky electrical/ignition issue that has recently popped up but is hopefully fixed -
