DF140 remove/replace PTT Motor problem

Does anyone know how to replace the PTT Motor without pulling the outboard and removing the whole PTT assembly? I can't seem to get to the front port side bolt to remove the PTT Motor. Tried using a 1/4" socket with extenson and swivel and just can't get to the bolt. Frustrating!
