  • Check engine lamp lights up

    Hi forum

I have an DF70 2000 model. This engine now only turns on "check engine" lamp wen key is turned. No sound signal or indication of runtime etc. And no ignition light. (oil pressure etc).
I have had it examined by a service partner, (Suzuki computer diagnose attatched) and he say that the ECU is working and that it must be some "electrical" problem/failure somewhere. I have tried to check all the ground connections etc, no improvment.

Before faliure started the rectifire was replaced, by another service company. Can this be wrongly installed?, is it possible ?

If anyone has some hints of checks I should do, or suggestens that can solve this problem, I will be a happy man.

    Regards Jo

Check all wire connections for corroded or loose connections.

      I have tried....

Thanks, but I have tried that already. I have demounted and remounted all wire connections and checked all ground/earth terminals. Any suggestions for what to check next ?

If ECU and wiring is good then must be a bad gauge.
